| Meet the Director:Gemma StraussWelcome to Hearts & Minds Early Learning Golden Bay, my name is Gemma and I am the centre director for this beautiful new service. I have been working in Early Childhood Education & Care for the past 20 years since I opened my Family Day Care Business in Secret Harbour in 2002, which I have loved and that gave me the opportunity to offer a great level of service to local families as well as my own children. When the opportunity arose to join Hearts & Minds Early Learning as a centre director, I embraced the chance to take my next step in early childhood education and care, as well as to be able to reach out and become a part of the broader community of Golden Bay and Secret Harbour. I hold a Training & Assessing qualification and have worked in Vocational Education Training, lecturing and educating the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care. | Meet the Team:Zoe LisleMy name is Zoe and I look forward to meeting you as the Service Administrator at Hearts and Minds Early Learning Golden Bay. I began my career in early childhood education in 2016 as a trainee, and since then have embraced many opportunities to grow as an educator. I have completed my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have since continued to gain vital skills in the sector through a broad range of experience and ongoing training. It has been my pleasure to work alongside many inspirational leaders, this has supported me in developing my own leadership style and philosophy. In my eyes, the community we create within the walls of our service is the most important thing! I am honoured to be a part of your village in not only creating nurturing environments for children, but their families too. I look forward to showcasing our wonderful service to you.
